How to make a barcode
- Choose the type and type the content (or one per line for many).
- Set the bar width, height and colors.
- Download PNG or SVG, or all as a ZIP.
Which type?

| Code 128 | Stock, shipping and asset labels | Letters, numbers, symbols |
| EAN-13 | Products sold worldwide | 12 digits (+ check digit) |
| UPC-A | Products in North America | 11 digits (+ check digit) |
| EAN-8 | Small products | 7 digits (+ check digit) |
| Code 39 | Older systems, badges | Capital letters, numbers |
| ITF-14 | Cartons and pallets | 13 digits (+ check digit) |
Good to know
- The check digit is calculated and added for you.
- Product barcodes (EAN, UPC) only work in shops with a number registered to your company (from GS1).
- SVG stays sharp at any print size; PNG is made at twice the screen size.
