How to convert JPG to JPEG XL
- Choose your JPG files (or drop a whole batch).
- The output is set to JPEG XL.
- Press Convert and download the pictures, one by one or as a ZIP.
Good to know
- Safari, Photoshop, GIMP, Krita and the Windows and macOS photo apps open JPEG XL; Chrome and Firefox don't yet.
- The JPEG XL software (libjxl, about 1.8 MB) loads the first time; a large photo can take several seconds.
- PNG, WebP, HEIC and other pictures can be converted too.
