How to split a PowerPoint
- Choose the presentation.
- Choose how to split: per slide, every few slides, per section, or ranges such as 1-3, 4-8.
- Download the files one by one or all in a ZIP.
Good to know
- Each new file keeps its slides' design, notes, charts and pictures, and only the pictures its slides use.
- Sections, links between slides and the slide count are updated in each file.
- Up to 500 files at a time.

Can I use an old .ppt file?
No. The old PowerPoint 97–2003 format (.ppt) is a different kind of file. Open it in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides or LibreOffice Impress, save it as .pptx, then use that file. To just look at a .ppt, use the PowerPoint Viewer.
Is there a size limit?
No server-imposed file size limits. Very large presentations need more memory and time on your device; a computer copes better than a phone.
Is my presentation uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device.
