How to trim audio
- Choose your audio file.
- Listen and set the start and end.
- Pick fast or exact, press Trim and download.
Fast or exact
- Fast: copies the audio without re-encoding (no quality loss). The cut lands on the nearest audio frame, a few hundredths of a second from your time.
- Exact: cuts at the precise time by re-encoding. FLAC files are saved as WAV in this mode, because browsers can't create FLAC (WAV is also lossless).
Good to know
- If you choose a video, its sound is trimmed and saved as M4A.
- Opens MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG/Opus and FLAC.

Can I cut out several parts at once?

How long should a ringtone be?
iPhone ringtones can be up to 40 seconds; most Android phones accept any length. 20–30 seconds is common.
