How to make a waveform image
- Choose an audio file (or a video: its sound is used).
- Pick the style, size and colors; the preview updates as you go.
- Download a PNG, or an SVG that stays sharp at any size.
Styles
- Bars: the familiar podcast-player look, with adjustable bar width, spacing and rounded ends.
- Wave: a filled, mirrored shape of the sound.
- Line: a single line following the peaks.
Good to know
- The whole file is drawn, from start to end. To show a part, cut it first with the Audio Trimmer.
- "Fill the height" scales the loudest moment to the top, so quiet recordings still make a full picture.
