      How to convert a color code

      1. Type or paste a color, such as #2563eb, rgb(37, 99, 235), hsl(221 83% 53%) or "tomato", or pick one.
      2. All formats update as you type. Press Copy next to the one you need.
      3. Click a tint or shade to use it as the new color.

      Formats it understands

      • HEX: #f80, #ff8800 and with transparency (#ff880080).
      • RGB and RGBA, with commas or spaces, numbers or percentages.
      • HSL, HSV / HSB and CMYK.
      • All 148 CSS color names, such as rebeccapurple.

      About CMYK

      CMYK here is a simple formula without a color profile. It is a good starting point, but printed colors depend on the printer, paper and profile. For important print work, convert in your design app with your print shop's profile.

      Preguntas frecuentes

      What are tints and shades?

      Tints are the color mixed with white, shades are the color mixed with black, in 10% steps. They are useful for buttons, hover states and backgrounds.

      Does it support transparency?

      Yes. Colors with transparency are shown as RGBA, HSLA and 8-digit HEX.

      Is anything sent to a server?

      No. All conversions run in your browser.
