How to convert a timestamp
- Paste a timestamp (seconds, milliseconds and more are recognised by their size) or a date.
- Pick a time zone to see the local date and time there.
- Or enter a date and time in a zone to get its timestamp. Copy any value with one click.
What you get
- The date in the chosen zone, in ISO 8601 with its offset, and in UTC.
- RFC 2822 / HTTP date, relative time ("3 days ago"), the ISO week and the day of the year.
- The current Unix time, ticking live.
Good to know
A Unix timestamp counts seconds since 1 January 1970 UTC, ignoring leap seconds. Time zone rules, including daylight saving changes, come from your browser's built-in time zone data.
Preguntas frecuentes
How do I know if a timestamp is in seconds or milliseconds?
Today's timestamps have 10 digits in seconds and 13 in milliseconds. The converter detects this automatically, and you can choose the unit yourself.
Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. Times are converted with the rules of the chosen zone, including clock changes.
