How to record your screen
- Choose whether to record the screen's sound and your microphone.
- Press Start recording and choose a screen, window or tab.
- Press Stop (or your browser's "Stop sharing"), then play and download the video.
Good to know
- Works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox on computers. Phones and tablets don't allow screen recording in a browser.
- The sound of a tab can be recorded in most browsers; the sound of the whole screen in Chrome and Edge on Windows.
- The recording is saved as WebM (or MP4 in Safari). Press "Save as MP4" for a file that plays everywhere.
- Long recordings use a lot of memory; download them before you close the page.
Recorded on your device
The recording is made by your browser and kept in this page until you download it. Nothing is uploaded or stored anywhere, and the page can't send it anywhere. The browser asks for permission first, and you can stop sharing at any time.
