Pictures are saved exactly as they are stored in the presentation (no re-compression). If a picture was cropped on a slide, the whole stored picture is saved. The file itself is not changed.

How to save the pictures from a PowerPoint
- Choose the presentation.
- Look through the pictures; tick the box to also list videos and sounds.
- Download them one by one or all in a ZIP.
Good to know
- Pictures are saved exactly as stored in the file: no re-compression, no quality loss.
- File names start with the first slide each picture is on (for example slide03-image5.png).
- Cropped pictures are saved whole, because PowerPoint keeps the cropped-away parts.
- EMF and WMF pictures (often logos and charts pasted from Office) are saved but can't be previewed in a browser.
- Pictures PowerPoint has compressed are only as sharp as what is stored.

Questions fréquentes
Can I get the videos out too?
Yes. Tick "Also list videos and sounds". Linked videos (not stored in the file) can't be extracted.
Can I use an old .ppt file?
No. The old PowerPoint 97–2003 format (.ppt) is a different kind of file. Open it in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides or LibreOffice Impress, save it as .pptx, then use that file. To just look at a .ppt, use the PowerPoint Viewer.
Is my presentation uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device.
