Design: shapes, colors and logo
The label color follows the code color until you pick one.
The logo hides a few dots, so the code uses the strongest error correction. Your picture stays in your browser.

How to make a QR code
- Choose what the code should open: a link, Wi-Fi, a contact and more.
- Fill in the details. The QR code updates as you type.
- Open Design to pick dot and corner shapes, colors and a logo.
- Download it as PNG or SVG (for print), or copy the image.
Make it look like your brand
- Dot shapes: squares, rounded, circles, diamonds, leaves, vertical or horizontal bars.
- Corner squares: choose the frame and the dot inside it (square, rounded, circle or leaf), each in its own color if you like.
- Colors: one color, or a gradient (left to right, top to bottom, diagonal or radial). Round the corners of the background, or make it see-through.
- Logo: put a picture in the middle (PNG, JPG, SVG, HEIC and more), with a clear square or circle around it. The code switches to the strongest error correction so it still scans. The logo is embedded in the SVG too, and never leaves your device.
- A test scan: after every change the page reads the finished picture back with a QR reader and tells you if it could not read the design. Phones are usually more forgiving, but always test with your phone before printing.
Static codes that never expire
The content is stored in the QR code itself. There is no redirect through another website, so the code keeps working forever and nobody tracks the scans. The flip side: a printed code can't be changed later, so check it before printing.
Tips for codes that scan
- Keep the white border (quiet zone) around the code.
- Dark code on a light background with strong contrast. The tool warns you when colors are too similar or inverted.
- Use SVG for print: it stays sharp at any size.
- Higher error correction keeps the code readable when it gets scratched or dirty, but makes it denser.
- Fancy dot shapes and big logos make codes harder to scan: keep dark on light, keep the logo under about 25% of the width, and always test the code with a phone before printing.
Questions fréquentes
Can I put my logo in the middle?
Yes. Choose a picture under Design. The page clears a few dots around it and raises the error correction to the highest level, so the code keeps working. Keep the logo fairly small and test the code with a phone.
Can I get the styled code as a vector?
Yes. The SVG download contains the shapes, gradient and logo, so it stays sharp at any size for print.
Do the QR codes expire?
No. They are static: the information is inside the code, so they work as long as the content (for example your link) is valid.
Can I see how many people scanned my code?
No. Counting scans requires sending people through a tracking website first. These codes go straight to your content.
Does it work with accents, emoji and other alphabets?
Yes. Text is stored as UTF-8, which modern phones read correctly.
Is my information sent anywhere?
No. The code is made in your browser. Your Wi-Fi password, contact details and logo never leave your device.
