How to make a signature image

  1. Draw your signature with a mouse, finger or pen, type your name, or choose a photo of your signature on paper.
  2. Choose the ink color and line thickness.
  3. Download it as a transparent PNG, an SVG or a JPG.

Three ways

  • Draw: smooth lines, with Undo. Drawn signatures can also be saved as a real vector SVG.
  • Type: your name in a handwriting style.
  • Clean up a photo: the paper is made transparent and the ink kept, in its own color or recolored black or blue.

Good to know

  • A transparent PNG sits on the page without a white box: use it in Word, Google Docs, emails and image editors.
  • To sign a PDF directly, use Sign PDF.
  • This is a picture of your signature (an electronic signature), not a certificate-based digital signature.

Your signature stays on your device

Everything happens in your browser. Your signature is never uploaded, and this site's security policy blocks the page from sending files anywhere.
