Keyboard: Space starts and pauses, R resets. The time is kept by your device's clock, so it stays right while you use another tab; the ring may then come up to a second late.

How to use the timer

  1. Set hours, minutes and seconds, or press a quick time.
  2. Press Start; pause and reset as you need.
  3. When time is up you hear a ring and see it in the tab title.

Does it keep running if I switch tabs?

Yes. The timer follows your device's clock, so it stays right while you use another tab; the ring may come up to a second late then.

Why is there no sound?

Check that "Ring when time is up" is on and your device isn't muted. Some browsers only allow sound after you click on the page, which Start does.
