    How to find and replace text

    1. Type or paste your text, or open a text file.
    2. Enter what to find and what to replace it with. Add more rules if you need them.
    3. Check the counts, then copy or download the result.

    Options

    • Several rules, applied from top to bottom.
    • Match upper/lower case, and whole words only (so "cat" doesn't change "category").
    • Regular expressions, with $1, $2 for groups and \n for a new line in the replacement.
    • Leave "Replace with" empty to delete what you find.

    Your text stays in your browser

    Nothing you type or paste is sent anywhere. It is processed on your device and disappears when you close the page.
