How to convert ASS to SRT
- Open your ASS file, or paste the subtitles.
- The output is set to SRT.
- Press Convert, then download the file or copy the result.
Good to know
- The words and times are kept; italic and bold too. Styles, positions and effects can't be expressed in SRT, so they are left out.
- Drawings (vector shapes in ASS files) are skipped.
- Other formats (VTT, SBV, TTML, LRC, plain text) are in the Subtitle Converter.
