How to remove comments from a PowerPoint
- Choose the presentation.
- Check the comments and authors found.
- Download the copy without comments.
Good to know
- Both kinds of PowerPoint comments are removed: the classic ones and the newer threaded comments, with their replies.
- The list of comment authors (names, and in newer files account IDs) is removed too.
- Slides, text and pictures are unchanged.

Can I use an old .ppt file?
No. The old PowerPoint 97–2003 format (.ppt) is a different kind of file. Open it in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides or LibreOffice Impress, save it as .pptx, then use that file. To just look at a .ppt, use the PowerPoint Viewer.
Is my presentation uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device.
