How to clean up text
- Type or paste your text, or open a text file.
- Choose what to clean. The result updates as you change the options.
- Copy the clean text or download it.
What it can do
- Join lines into paragraphs, which fixes text copied from PDFs (words split with a hyphen at the end of a line are joined too).
- Remove extra spaces, tabs, invisible characters and empty lines.
- Remove duplicate lines, exactly or ignoring upper/lower case.
- Sort lines A → Z with numbers in the right order (2 before 10), Z → A, by length, reverse or shuffle.
- Remove HTML tags, straighten curly quotes, remove accents or emoji.
