How to spin the wheel

  1. Type or paste your entries, one per line (up to 300).
  2. Press Spin, or the space bar.
  3. Remove the winner and spin again for the next place, or tick "Remove the winner after each spin".
  4. Copy the list of results when you're done.

Is it fair?

Yes. Before the wheel turns, the winner is drawn with your browser's cryptographic random generator, the same kind used for passwords, with every entry equally likely. The wheel then turns to land on it. How fast it spins or where it starts doesn't change the odds.

To give an entry more chances, put it on the list more than once.

  • Pick a student, a winner of a giveaway, or the order of presentations.
  • Decide where to eat or what to watch.
  • Assign chores or teams: spin, remove the winner, spin again.

Are my entries saved?

No. They stay on this page while it is open and are not stored or sent anywhere. Copy your list if you want to use it again.

Can I pick several winners at once?

Spin once for each winner with "Remove the winner after each spin" ticked, so nobody is picked twice. To pick many at once, use the List Randomizer.
