How to add up hours and minutes
- Type one time per line, like 1:30, 45m or 2h 15m (start a line with − to subtract it).
- Read the total in hours:minutes:seconds and in decimal hours.
- Use the other sections to convert a duration or count the hours between two times.
Ways to write a time

Decimal hours
Timesheets and invoices often need hours as a decimal: 1 hour 30 minutes is 1.5 hours, and 1 hour 45 minutes is 1.75 hours (minutes ÷ 60). The total is shown both ways.
Perguntas frequentes
What if a shift goes past midnight?
When the end time is earlier than the start time, the calculator counts it as the next day, so 22:00 to 06:00 is 8 hours.
Is anything sent anywhere?
