How to make a booklet
- Choose the PDF.
- Pick the paper: A4 folds to A5, Letter folds to half letter.
- Download, print double-sided with "flip on short edge", fold the stack and staple along the fold.
How it works
Booklet printing (saddle stitching) puts four pages on each sheet: two on the front, two on the back. The pages are reordered so that after folding they read 1, 2, 3… Blank pages are added at the end when the page count isn't a multiple of 4.
Good to know
- Print double-sided and flip on the short edge; otherwise every other side is upside down.
- For thick booklets, print in groups of a few sheets and stack the folded groups.
- Text stays sharp: pages are placed as vector content.
