How to number lines
- Paste your text or open a file.
- Choose the first number, the step and what follows the number.
- Copy or download the numbered text.
Options
- Start at any number and count in steps (10, 20, 30…).
- 1. or 1) or 1: or a tab after the number.
- Numbers lined up with spaces or zeros (01, 02 … 10).
- Empty lines can be left without a number.
- "Remove line numbers" takes numbers like "1. ", "12) " or "003 - " off the start of each line.
