How to fill in a PDF form

  1. Choose the PDF form. Its fields are listed next to each page, numbered like the boxes on the page.
  2. Type your answers, tick the boxes and pick the options.
  3. Optionally flatten the form, then save and download.

Good to know

  • Works with PDFs that have real form fields (AcroForms). For a scanned or flat form, use Sign PDF to add text and signatures on top.
  • Flattening turns the answers into part of the page, so they can't be changed and look the same everywhere.
  • Field labels come from the form itself, so some forms show only technical names; the numbers on the page help to find the right field.
  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first with Unlock PDF (you need the password).

The file is read and changed on your device. Nothing is uploaded, so contracts, statements and IDs stay private.

Why can't I see any fields?

The PDF has no fillable fields. You can still add text and signatures with Sign PDF.

Should I flatten the form?

Flatten it when you send the final version, so nobody can change the answers. Keep it unflattened if you need to edit it later.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser.
