Why doesn't my link download?
The file must be shared with "Anyone with the link". Large Google Drive files first show a page saying they can't be scanned for viruses, with a "Download anyway" button.
Are the links checked online?
No. They are rewritten from their text on this page; nothing is opened or sent.
