How to edit PDF properties

  1. Choose your PDF. Its current properties are filled in.
  2. Change, add or empty the fields.
  3. Press Save PDF and download.

What you can change

  • Title (also shown in the window title of PDF readers), author, subject and keywords.
  • The app the document was created with and the software that made the PDF.
  • The creation date and the date it was last changed.

Good to know

  • Empty fields are removed from the file, and the old values are not left behind.
  • PDFs also keep these details as XMP metadata; it is replaced with the new values, so every app shows the same.
  • To remove everything at once (including comment authors and the document ID), use PDF Metadata Remover.

Your PDF stays on your device

Everything happens in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded, and this site's security policy blocks the page from sending files anywhere.
