How to calculate an age

  1. Enter the date of birth.
  2. Keep today's date, or choose another date.
  3. Read the age in years, months and days, and the totals.

Leap-day birthdays

People born on 29 February are counted as having their birthday on 28 February in years without one, so they turn a year older on that day.

Why can months and days differ between calculators?

Months have different lengths. This calculator counts whole calendar months first (31 January plus one month is the end of February), then the days left over.

Is anything sent anywhere?

No. The calculation happens in your browser, and the dates you enter never leave your device.
