How to add subtitles to a video

  1. Choose your video.
  2. Choose your subtitle file (SRT or VTT) and the style: size, color, outline or box, top or bottom.
  3. Press the button and download the video.

Good to know

  • Long lines are wrapped to fit; italic subtitles stay italic.
  • Subtitles early or late? Move them all with the "Move by" field, or fix the file with the Subtitle Time Shifter.
  • Burned-in subtitles can't be turned off. To keep them switchable, add the subtitle file to your video player instead.
  • It uses your browser's built-in video technology: best in current Chrome and Edge, and recent Safari and Firefox versions.
