How to flatten a PDF

Why flatten
- Filled-in forms look the same in every app and can't be changed by accident.
- Comments, highlights, stamps and signatures drawn as comments print reliably everywhere.
- Some offices and portals only accept flattened PDFs.
Good to know
- Links stay clickable unless you untick it.
- Comments without a saved appearance can't be drawn, so they are kept and listed.
- Flattening is not redaction: to remove information, use Redact PDF.
