How to make a pie chart

  1. Paste your data from Excel or Google Sheets, or open a CSV or Excel file.
  2. Add a title, and choose colors, size and number format.
  3. Download it as PNG, SVG or PowerPoint.

Good to know

  • Put the names in the first column and the amounts in the second; percentages are worked out for you.
  • Slices are labelled with their percentage, or with the amount when "Show values" is on; the legend lists both.
  • Pie charts work best with up to six or seven slices. For more, a bar chart is easier to read.
  • Open a PNG saved here to keep editing it: the PNG keeps the data and settings inside.

Your data stays on your device

The chart is drawn in your browser. Your numbers are never uploaded, and this site's security policy blocks the page from sending anything anywhere.

Do the values need to add up to 100?

No. Enter the amounts as they are (sales, votes, hours): each slice is its share of the total.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The chart is made in your browser and your numbers never leave your device.
