How to make a bar chart

  1. Paste your data from Excel or Google Sheets, or open a CSV or Excel file.
  2. Add a title, and choose colors, size and number format.
  3. Download it as PNG, SVG or PowerPoint.

Good to know

  • Several columns of numbers make grouped bars, one color per series; choose Stacked bar to pile them up.
  • Horizontal bars suit long labels, such as product names or survey answers.
  • Turn on "A different color for each bar" for a single series, and "Show values" to print each number on its bar.
  • Open a PNG saved here to keep editing it: the PNG keeps the data and settings inside.

Your data stays on your device

The chart is drawn in your browser. Your numbers are never uploaded, and this site's security policy blocks the page from sending anything anywhere.

Can I make a stacked bar chart?

Yes: choose Stacked bar. Each column of numbers becomes a part of every bar, and the total is shown on top when values are on.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The chart is made in your browser and your numbers never leave your device.
