PDF metadata
Found in this PDF
No document metadata was found. You can still save a clean copy, which also drops unused objects left by earlier edits.

How to remove metadata from a PDF
- Choose a PDF.
- Check the list of metadata found.
- Press Remove metadata and download the clean PDF.
What is removed
- Document properties: title, author, subject, keywords, creating application, PDF producer, creation and modification dates.
- XMP metadata streams, on the document and on individual objects.
- Private application data (PieceInfo) and the document ID.
- Names and dates on comments and annotations (the comments themselves are kept).
- Unused objects, such as older copies of the properties that earlier edits left behind.
What is not removed
- The visible content: text, images, links, form fields, comments and attachments are kept.
- Images inside the PDF are not changed, so photos placed in it may still carry their own camera metadata.
- Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs cannot be cleaned. Remove the password first.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Your PDF is processed locally in your browser and never leaves your device. This site has no upload feature, and its security policy blocks the page from uploading anything.
