What this User-Agent says
Your browser's Client Hints
Newer Chromium browsers share exact details through Client Hints instead of the User-Agent. Read here from your browser itself; nothing is sent anywhere.

How to read a User-Agent
- Your own browser's User-Agent is filled in; paste another one, or many from a log, one per line.
- Read the browser, engine, system and device.
- For many lines, download the table as CSV.
What it recognises
- Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Samsung Internet and in-app browsers (Instagram, Facebook, WeChat).
- Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android, ChromeOS, Linux, game consoles and TVs.
- Search engine and AI crawlers (Googlebot, Bingbot, GPTBot, ClaudeBot…) and tools such as curl and Python Requests.
Limits of User-Agent strings
Browsers now hide details on purpose: Windows 11 says it is Windows 10, macOS always says 10.15.7, and Chrome on Android hides the phone model. Anything can also be typed into a User-Agent, so it is a hint, not proof. For your own browser, the page also shows Client Hints, which are more exact where the browser offers them.
Frequently asked questions
Is my User-Agent sent anywhere?
No. It is read from your browser and parsed in the page; nothing is uploaded or looked up online.
