How to make a waterfall chart
- Paste your data from Excel or Google Sheets, or open a CSV or Excel file.
- Add a title, and choose colors, size and number format.
- Download it as PNG, SVG or PowerPoint.
Good to know
- The first row is the starting amount; the next rows are changes, positive or negative.
- Increases are green, decreases red, and totals in the main color, joined by dotted lines.
- A row named "Subtotal" or "Total" with no number shows the running total at that point; a total bar ends the chart unless you turn it off.
- Open a PNG saved here to keep editing it: the PNG keeps the data and settings inside.
Your data stays on your device
The chart is drawn in your browser. Your numbers are never uploaded, and this site's security policy blocks the page from sending anything anywhere.
