Aspect ratios and sizes
| Choice | Good for |
|---|---|
| Free | Any shape |
| Square (1:1) | Profile pictures, product photos, square posts |
| 16:9 | Video thumbnails, presentations, wallpapers |
| 4:3 and 3:2 | Classic photos, prints |

Animated GIFs
GIF animations keep moving: every frame is cropped the same way. Rotation is off while the animation is kept.
Keyboard and touch
- Drag the crop box to move it, or drag its edges and corners to resize it.
- With the crop box focused, the arrow keys move it and Shift + arrow keys resize it.
- On touch screens, pinch to zoom the image.
Quality
The crop is cut from the full-resolution image, not from the preview. PNG output is lossless. JPG and WebP are saved again at the quality you choose (92 by default).
