How to merge videos

  1. Choose two or more clips.
  2. Put them in order with the arrows.
  3. Press Merge videos and download the result.

Fast or converted

  • Clips with the same format, size and settings (for example from one phone) are joined without re-encoding: no quality loss, done in seconds.
  • Otherwise every clip is converted to one size (the first clip's, the largest, or 1080p/720p/480p). Clips with a different shape get black bars instead of being stretched.
  • The page tells you which will happen before you start.

Good to know

  • Clips without sound get silence, so picture and sound stay in step.
  • Opens MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV.
  • The new video is made in memory, so very long videos need a computer with enough free memory.
  • It uses your browser's built-in video technology. It works best in current Chrome and Edge; recent Safari and Firefox versions work too.
