Frequently asked questions
Is the text in the order I see it?
The title comes first, then the other text in the order the shapes are stored on the slide, which is usually the order they were added. Shapes placed side by side may come in a different order than you read them.
Can it read text in pictures?
No. For pictures of text, extract the pictures and use Image to Text.
Can I use an old .ppt file?
No. The old PowerPoint 97–2003 format (.ppt) is a different kind of file. Open it in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides or LibreOffice Impress, save it as .pptx, then use that file. To just look at a .ppt, use the PowerPoint Viewer.
Is my presentation uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device.
